In the last few years, the Democratic party has been a lie manufacturing machine! A Scandal fest. A train of untruths. Here are a few of the main ones of these. Let's start with Obama and move forward.
1. The Affordable Care Act ("If you like your doctor...") — Barack Obama
Claim: “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.”
Reality: Many people lost their preferred plans and doctors due to ACA-related changes in insurance regulations. Politifact labeled this 2013 statement as their "Lie of the Year."
2. Benghazi Talking Points — Obama Administration
Claim: The 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, was due to a spontaneous protest over an anti-Islam video.
Reality: Later investigations revealed that the attack was likely premeditated terrorism, and internal communications showed conflicting narratives within the administration.
Result: 4 American deaths including: J. Christopher Stevens – U.S. Ambassador to Libya, Sean Smith – U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer, Glen Doherty – Former Navy SEAL, working as a CIA contractor, Tyrone S. Woods – Former Navy SEAL, working as a CIA contractor, and 10+ more injured.
3. Hillary Clinton’s Email Server
Claim: Clinton stated she never sent or received classified emails on her private server.
Reality: FBI investigations found that she did handle classified information, although they did not recommend criminal charges. The mishandling of facts about the nature and volume of classified material was widely criticized.
4. Russia Collusion Narrative — Various Democrats
Claim: Some Democrats strongly suggested or stated that there was conclusive evidence that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia.
Reality: The Mueller Report (2019) found no criminal conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia, although it documented numerous contacts and did not exonerate Trump on obstruction. Some Democratic claims were exaggerated beyond the findings.
New information has come out showing a plan to smear Trump. This is now DOCUMENTED FACT.
5. Border Cages and Immigration Policy
Claim: Democrats criticized Trump for "putting kids in cages."
Reality: The practice of detaining children in chain-link enclosures began under the Obama administration, though expanded and more publicized under Trump. Some Democrats omitted that fact when criticizing the policy.
6. Hunter Biden’s Laptop — 2020 Election
Claim: Some Democrats dismissed the Hunter Biden laptop story as Russian disinformation.
Reality: In 2022 and 2023, major media outlets like The New York Times and Washington Post confirmed parts of the laptop's contents as authentic. The 2020 letter from intelligence officials did not claim proof of Russian disinfo but was presented by some Democrats as such.
7. Inflation and the American Rescue Plan — Biden Administration
Claim: The American Rescue Plan would not lead to inflation or was not a major contributor.
Reality: Many economists, including former Obama economic advisors (like Larry Summers), warned that it could fuel inflation. Inflation spiked significantly after its passage, leading critics to say the administration misled the public.
8. Joe Biden’s Past Statements (Civil Rights, Arrest Claims, Academics)
Biden has made several false or exaggerated claims over the years, including:
Being arrested in South Africa trying to see Nelson Mandela (debunked).
Marching in the civil rights movement (no evidence supports this).
Graduating at the top of his class (he did not).
9. August 2021 Afghanistan Withdrawal — Biden Administration
Claim: Biden said no intelligence predicted the rapid collapse of the Afghan government.
Reality: Reporting and leaked documents showed that multiple agencies warned about the possibility of a quick Taliban takeover.
Result: 13 U.S. service members killed, 170 Afghan civilians killed, 150 + injured (combined). Estimated value of U.S.-supplied equipment left in Afghanistan: $7.1 billion (according to DoD report). Types of equipment: Aircraft, vehicles, weapons, communications gear (much rendered inoperable or nonfunctional)
10. COVID-19 School Closures and Mask Policies
Claim: Some Democrats and unions claimed they followed “the science” on school closures and reopening.
Reality: In retrospect, many medical experts and studies suggested prolonged closures caused significant harm to children, and “the science” was not always followed but instead politicized.
11. Biden’s Cognitive Health — Alleged Cover-Up
Claim: Democrats and media figures have downplayed or dismissed concerns about President Biden’s cognitive decline.
Reality: Biden has shown signs of aging—frequent verbal gaffes, slow responses, falls, and moments of confusion—which fueled widespread speculation. However, Democrats, the White House, and their media friends consistently presented him as mentally fit for office. Critics argued this presentation is misleading or part of a “cover-up,” while defenders said it’s age-related but not indicative of cognitive impairment. No official diagnosis of cognitive decline has been disclosed, however, many people are waking up to the fact that what we saw in the infamous Biden/Trump debate of 2024 betrays the truth.
Result: In 2023, 2024, and 2025 some media outlets and Democrats began acknowledging these concerns more openly after months or years of dismissing them as partisan attacks ("cheap fakes").
12. Biden's Cancer Statement — July 2022
Claim: Biden said in a speech, "I and so damn many other people I grew up with have cancer," implying he currently had cancer.
Reality: This sparked confusion. The White House later clarified that he was referring to past skin cancer removals, not an active diagnosis. Critics accused the administration of walking back a false or misleading statement; defenders said it was a verbal slip or taken out of context. In May 2025 it was revealed that Biden has late-stage prostate cancer which according to experts takes many years to get to that point. It strains believability that he was never found to have that condition over the last four years. This means they kept it hidden from voters. Another big LIE.
13. “Trump is a Nazi” — Hyperbolic Rhetoric
Claim: Some Democratic politicians and media commentators have compared Trump to Adolf Hitler or labeled him and his supporters as “Nazis.”
Reality: While Trump’s rhetoric, immigration policies, and handling of far-right groups have drawn sharp criticism, calling him a “Nazi” is not fact-based but political hyperbole. It trivializes the Holocaust and totalitarian regime of Nazi Germany. Some Democrats and progressive voices have used this comparison loosely, which has been criticized even by centrists and historians.
Now, here are several recent scandals involving Democratic politicians across various levels of government:

Here's a new one:
A scandal surrounding daycare and social services fraud in Minnesota under Governor Tim Walz primarily involves widespread mismanagement and lack of oversight within state agencies. These issues gained significant national attention in late 2025 and early 2026.
Here is a summary of the key components:
1. The Daycare Fraud Allegations
In December 2025, a viral video by an independent journalist (Nick Shirley) showed several Minneapolis daycare centers that were receiving millions in state and federal funding but appeared to be inactive.
Quality Learning Center: One specific center received roughly $4 million in state funds despite being closed during business hours and having a sign that misspelled "Learning."
