Democrats = Clueless Socially-Conscious Socialist Feelie-Monsters

Government is a difficult thing. You are in charge of law enforcement, economic opportunity, infrastructure, social welfare, foreign relations, and the general well-being.

Republicans are really good at this.

Democrats, not so much!

One huge problem with Dems is that they put WAY too much emphasis on social justice. Inside that is activism, and equity and inclusion. Things like that.

When those things are your bread and butter, running a government is secondary to other feeling-oriented things like inclusion, diversity, and equity of outcome. But that is unrealistic and impossible to implement in the realm of government.

Equality and social welfare is a small (albeit important) part of governing a group of people. More important is... can they be safe? Do they have opportunity? Are there jobs? Can we trust the roads and bridges? Are we free? Are there green spaces and parks we can enjoy? Can we make a living?

Are homosexuals happy... is WAAAAY down the list of important things to worry about for a city, state, or country. Especially when homosexuals are already covered by the same rights we all enjoy. You have a right to be homosexual in this country if you are a law-abiding citizen. Same if you are black, a woman, or any other subdivided group.

Republicans prioritize infrastructure, economy, and safety above those secondary or tertiary things.

One barometer to look at to gauge whether a city government is functioning properly, is HOMELESSNESS. Homelessness in a city will tell you whether the government is functioning properly or not. For instance I live in San Antonio and we have a bad homelessness problem. Not coincidentally we have a VERY blue city. Been democrat for many many years.

In Texas alone the cities with the highest homelessness are:

Dallas: 3,718
San Antonio: 3,398
Houston: 3,280
Austin: 2,975
Fort Worth: 2,463

I'll let you guess which ideology runs these cities. Yep, every one of them are Liberal Democrat run cities. Fort worth has a Republican mayor, but the council and electorate are mostly Democrat. The Republican (Mattie Parker) is probably a RINO. Haha!

Let me also say this is not strictly a party thing. It is primarily a left or right thing. There are some Democrats who are conservative. There are some Republicans who are more "progressive". I'm of course making a generalized statement. Most conservatives are Republican, and most "progressives" are Democratic.

With that out of the way let me say that when your top priority as a mayor is painting "Gay Pride" rainbow crosswalks instead of making sure the streets are cleaned of trash, that's a huge problem. If your top priority is making sure "people of color" are "empowered" instead of making sure crime isn't running rampant in your streets, you have a major problem. If your top priority is "righting history's wrongs" instead of creating jobs, you have a massive problem.

If you want to work at social betterment, that's great. But politics isn't the place for that. Politics should be strictly for those people who want to make a good safe functioning community for all their constituents. Not social justice activists.

In my opinion, Obama was the first social justice activist president. He set a terrible precedent. Obama put righting history's wrongs at the center of his presidency. Why not put America first? Isn't that what a president should do?

The Democrats say: "Diversity is our strength."

The Republicans say: "Unity is our strength."

Who is right? I say UNITY is our STRENGTH!! Last time I checked we are called the UNITED States of America. Not the DIVERSE States of America. Yes, we are diverse. But we stand united by certain core ideals. Here are the common ideals ALL Americans share!

We want to live free. We want to be treated fairly under the law. We want to have a voice in our government. We want opportunities for ourselves and our children. We want justice if we are wronged. We want to live in dignity. We want the freedom to pursue happiness according to our deepest convictions. We understand that our rights end where another person's rights begin.

These things are universal to all of us. Black, white, Asian, middle eastern, Christian, Muslim, Jew, rich, poor, gay, straight... everyone!

Unfortunately, Democrats tend to divide people. Blacks vs. whites, Gays vs. straights, rich vs. poor. Always dividing. They LOVE to blame people. The blame game is their favorite sport. If someone is down, then according to a Democrat, it isn't the person's fault, or misfortune, no! It's white people's fault. When you encourage this, both sides become resentful and hatred is fomented on both sides. This tendency simply must not be allowed to happen.

Let's leave the Democrat party behind. Just like we dissolved the Whig party, and the Federalist party. The Bull-Moose Party, and the Reform Party. Let's leave it behind where it belongs.
