This is Chuck Schumer. He is a washed up old senatorial fart. He used to be a well respected member of the Democrat Party. Now he's just an out-of-touch old geezer who is striving to remain relevant.

He voted FOR the continuing resolution in March 2024. He got ROASTED by the extremists in his party, even though he did the right thing. Now its 2025 and he just got finished causing the LONGEST shutdown in American history which caused a lot of damage. Why? Because he remembers how he got torched for doing the right thing last time. So he is basically damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. He is devoid of principle. He does whatever he thinks will gain him the most political power/clout. The problem is, in his position, he needs to have principles.

In short: He needs to retire. His time is over.
